Aurora, Colorado - June 7, 2007- Republic Financial Corporation, a privately held company with investment interests in a diverse portfolio of operating companies, announced the addition of Dennis Bikun to its executive management team as chief financial officer and treasurer. Mr. Bikun is charged with directing Republic's financial objectives and aiding in the company's growth strategy. He brings with him over 25 years of leadership and technical experience.
Before joining Republic, Mr. Bikun was the executive vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer for UHY Advisors, Inc., a professional services firm, providing tax and business consulting services to a wide variety of middle market clients. Prior to his position at UHY Advisors, he was CFO and treasurer of Associated Estates Realty Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange company.

Mr. Bikun received a BS in Accounting from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio and an Executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, Ohio.
